Core Features of the Long Dragon Tunnel Cage Washer for Animal Laboratories
The Long Dragon Tunnel Cage Washer is a core cleaning equipment for large-scale animal laboratories (such as animal centers in large pharmaceutical companies, research institutions and universities, and SPF-grade animal rooms). Different from cabinet-type cage washers, it features continuous operation, ultra-large processing capacity, and full-process automation as its core advantages. It is suitable for batch cleaning and disinfection of various experimental animal cages, including IVC cages, metabolic cages, and breeding cages, and strictly meets biosafety and compliance requirements such as GLP, GMP, and AAALAC. Its core features are as follows:
  1. Structural Design: Continuous tunnel layout with upgraded biosafety isolation
     
    Tunnel-type continuous operation structure
     
    Adopting a multi-section tunnel layout (pre-washing section → main washing section → rinsing section → disinfection section → drying section), the cages are continuously transferred through the conveying system, realizing an uninterrupted full-process operation of "loading - cleaning - disinfection - drying - unloading", completely eliminating the batch limitations of cabinet-type machines.
Double-door / zoned isolation design
 
The front and rear ends of the equipment are equipped with a feed inlet in the contaminated area and a discharge outlet in the clean area, combined with electronic and mechanical double interlocking. It physically isolates the contaminated end and the clean end throughout the process, preventing cross-contamination before and after cage cleaning, and meeting the biosafety standards of BSL-2/3 level animal laboratories.
Modularization and conveying system
 
The whole machine is assembled in modules, and the number of cleaning sections / drying sections can be increased or decreased according to the site and processing capacity; the conveying system uses a stainless steel mesh belt / silent chain with frequency conversion speed regulation (0.5-5m/min), which is suitable for different cage sizes and cleaning rhythms, ensuring stable and non-jamming conveying.
Fully sealed anti-corrosion structure
 
The shell, inner tank, and pipelines of the whole machine are made of 316L stainless steel (high-end model) / 304 stainless steel, with mirror polishing and seamless welding. They are resistant to corrosion by acid and alkali cleaning agents and disinfectants, have no hygiene dead corners, and are easy to clean and disinfect.
