During the long-term toxicity testing phase of the new drug, 1,800 cages were replaced daily. Tunnel equipment operated continuously from 8:00 AM to 8:00 PM, with only a 15-minute shutdown at noon for filter cleaning. After drying, soiled cages were directly sent to a double-door sterilizer. Post-sterilization, they were transported to the clean housing room, forming a fully automated closed-loop logistics system for 'soiled cage cleaning - drying - sterilization - clean housing'. There were no instances of cage supply shortages, ensuring the timely completion of the trial.
